APC Waiver & Discount Policy

At Scholarnex, we are committed to fostering academic inclusivity and global knowledge exchange. To support authors with financial constraints or those from underserved regions, we offer the following APC waiver and discount options:

Full APC Waiver Eligibility

A 100% waiver may be granted in the following cases:

• Corresponding author is affiliated with an institution in a Low-Income Country (as defined by the World Bank).
• The article is invited by the editorial board or published as part of a special issue.
• The author is a graduate student or early-career researcher without institutional funding.

💸 Partial Discount (30–50%) Eligibility

You may qualify for a partial APC discount if:

• You are from a Lower-Middle Income Country (as per World Bank classification).
• You are a member of a partner institution or research consortium.
• The article is a multi-author collaboration where most authors are from low-income regions.
• You have published with Scholarnex journals multiple times within a calendar year.

📩 How to Request a Waiver

To apply for a waiver or discount:

1. Submit your manuscript through the journal’s online system.
2. Before final acceptance, email your waiver request to: editor@scholarnex.org
3. Include:

• Manuscript title and journal name
• Author(s) name(s) and affiliations
• Reason for waiver request
• Supporting documents (if any)

All waiver requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted before payment is made.

• Waiver requests do not influence editorial decisions or peer review outcomes.
• Waivers are subject to annual limits and budget availability.
• Authors will be notified of the waiver decision via email.
