Code of Conduct

At Scholarnex journals, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and integrity across all stages of the academic publishing process. This Code of Conduct outlines the responsibilities and expected behavior of all parties involved in the creation, review, and dissemination of scholarly work, including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting to Scholarnex journals must ensure that their work is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal. They are responsible for properly citing all sources and providing accurate acknowledgment for the contributions of others. Authors must avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, or any form of research misconduct. Any conflicts of interest, whether financial, institutional, or personal, must be fully disclosed. All listed authors should have made significant contributions to the work and must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission. If an error or ethical issue is discovered after publication, authors are obliged to promptly inform the editorial office to issue a correction or retraction. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of authors to secure written permission for any third-party copyrighted material used in their submission and to comply with ethical standards concerning human or animal research where applicable.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers play a vital role in the scholarly ecosystem and are expected to conduct reviews with fairness, confidentiality, and professionalism. They must treat all manuscripts as confidential documents and must not share or use any part of the content for personal advantage. Reviews should be objective, constructive, and respectful, aiming to help authors improve the quality of their work. Reviewers are expected to provide feedback in a timely manner and must declare any potential conflicts of interest that may compromise their impartiality. If a reviewer suspects plagiarism or other forms of misconduct, they are encouraged to report it to the editorial team promptly.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors at Scholarnex journals are entrusted with upholding the integrity of the review process. They must ensure that every manuscript is evaluated on its academic merit without discrimination. Editors are responsible for maintaining confidentiality during the submission and review process and for making decisions based solely on the scholarly value of the work. They must guard against conflicts of interest and ensure that allegations of ethical misconduct are investigated thoroughly and addressed appropriately. Editors are also responsible for ensuring that peer review is conducted fairly and that the academic record remains trustworthy and transparent.

Responsibilities of the Publisher

As the publisher, Scholarnex journals is dedicated to supporting ethical publishing practices in line with internationally recognized standards, including those of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We ensure that authors and editors are equipped with the tools and resources necessary to manage the publishing process responsibly. We are committed to providing a transparent and efficient publication system, protecting user privacy, ensuring the long-term preservation of published content, and taking prompt action when ethical concerns are raised.

Breaches of Conduct

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in a range of actions, including the rejection or retraction of submitted work, banning of individuals from future participation, notification to institutional or funding bodies, and public disclosures when necessary. All contributors to Scholarnex journals are expected to adhere to this Code and help foster a scholarly environment grounded in mutual respect, academic rigor, and ethical responsibility.
