Abstract
This study investigates the relationship between digital procurement capabilities (DPC) and supply chain performance (SCP) within the Sultanate of Oman's business environment. The research addresses specific questions regarding DPC's impact on organizational supply chain effectiveness. A structured questionnaire was developed using Microsoft Forms and administered to employees across various Omani companies employing digital procurement processes. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0, employing descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, and simple linear regression analysis. Findings reveal that DPC significantly influences SCP across small, medium, and large enterprises. Results indicate that organizations can enhance procurement efficiency, gain critical insights into supplier performance and market trends, and make informed decisions that strengthen supply chain outcomes through effective integration of digital procurement capabilities. The study demonstrates that digital adaptability in procurement processes serves as a strategic enabler for improved operational dynamics and competitive advantage. Key limitations include potential self-report bias, convenience sampling methodology, and cross-sectional design, which constrain generalizability. Future research should employ longitudinal designs, probability sampling techniques, and multi-source data collection to validate and extend these findings across diverse industrial contexts and geographical settings within the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
